Warranty Conditions

All our products pass exhaustive Quality Controls, but we are human and eventually some defective products can reach you.

Kapal-Laut Jewellery and Blink Fashion Jewellery is protected from the original date of purchase by a 3 (three) months limited warranty. If the jewellery proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use anytime within the 3 (three) months after the date of purchase, at our own discretion we will issue a voucher for the value of the product (no cash back) OR fix the product OR replace the product with the same or a comparable product free of charge.

Replacement of the damaged product only available if replacement is done in our Bali shops. No overseas replacement of goods for goods purchased.

Shipping costs outside Indonesia due to any warranty claim shipment are not covered by these Warranty Terms.

Outlet or discounted products can not be exchanged and are not covered by this Warranty Terms.

Wholesale order products can not be exchanged and are not covered by this Warranty Terms.

In the case of unwanted gifts or change of mind, goods purchased in our Bali shops can be exchanged during the first 7 (seven) days after invoice date if returned in perfect condition, unused, in original packaging and original invoice on the same shop where it was purchased.

All jewellery products are fragile in nature, so must be handled with care in all circumstances. The warranty is not valid in the event of incorrect use, mishandling, third-party repairs, careless handling, normal wear and tear, abuse or if the jewellery is damaged due to non-regular use, for example during an accident or a fall.

Kapal-Laut Jewellery and Blink by Kapal Laut Fashion Jewellery are made of precious or non-precious metals combined with various elements including semi-precious stones, wood, leather, string, etc. Apply perfume and cosmetics prior to putting on your jewellery. To clean each piece of jewellery, wipe with a soft cloth. Keep your jewellery away from moisture as it fosters tarnish. Do not expose jewellery to water, cleaning or chemical products. We recommend storing your jewellery in a clean, dry place. Damage occurred due to cleaning the jewellery with inappropiate agents will not be covered by the warranty.

Some Bali jewellery retail businesses sell fake copies or imitations of our products and we can't be responsible for their behaviour, prices or quality. We only sell in shops clearly signed as "Kapal-Laut" shops, and we only accept original invoices from Kapal-Laut , Blink by Kapal-Laut or Outlet by Kapal-Laut shops as proof of purchase. No exceptions.

Warranty claims

To start any warranty claim, contact our Customer Service and send us a picture of the product and a picture of the original invoice . Our Customer Service team will reply you ASAP and proceed with the claim. Warranty claims without picture of the damaged product or original invoice will not be considered. Bank Statements or Credit Card Statements are not accepted as proof of purchase.


The return conditions apply for retail online orders, NOT for Outlet products or Wholesale online orders.

Defective products can be replaced by us within the conditions expressed on our Warranty Conditions. We will not accept or process returns for incorrect purchase or change of mind. Discounted or outlet products can not be exchanged or refunded.

The color in a picture in our online shop can be different to the original product, depending the light, pixel density, monitor calibration, etc, Kapal-Laut Jewellery or Blink by Kapal-Laut don't accept claims in this case. All images in this online shop are checked, and colours and textures are as close as possible to the real colour. Also, different screens show colours slightly different. Be sure your screen is properly colour-calibrated. 

The natural or sinthetic stone colours (like Cat Eye, Agathe etc) can be slightly different due the stone nature, weather, season, light exposure, etc. 

All returns requests need to be made by writting within 7 (seven) days of purchase if you purchased them at the shop, or 7 (seven) days after you have received the products if you ordered online. In case of an accepted return, all costs related to the return will be charged to customer, unless agreed otherwise.

Customer must use a trackable shipping system, so both parties can track the goods and confirm delivery.Kapal-Laut Jewellery or Blink by Kapal-Laut will not be responsible for any goods sent by customers and delayed or lost during shipping. Returns have to be send in original packaging and in perfect condition. Kapal-Laut Jewellery or Blink by Kapal-Laut reserves the right to inspect the returned goods and its decision about the return will be final.
